Liv graduated from the University of South Australia in 2016 with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, and has since worked as an Occupational Therapist primarily with children and young people in both private and public sectors.
Liv’s career began working in a private practice clinic in Adelaide’s Northern suburbs and provided outreach to schools and community locations. After 4 years, a career shift then took her into varied and interesting fields, including being the first Occupational Therapist to work in a countering violent extremism role in Australia with youths, and later being the sole Occupational Therapist in South Australia working with young people involved in the Youth Justice system.
Across these roles, Liv has provided high-level assessment and intervention, individual and group therapy, clinical supervision and clinical education supporting final year university students, and training to clinical and non-clinical staff (on topics such as sensory processing, assessment and intervention, disability awareness). In 2024, Liv presented at the Australasian Youth Justice Conference in Melbourne, Australia.
Throughout her career, Liv has continued to focus on, assess, and provide support around foundational level skills that are demonstrated in research as influencing an individual’s life path.
At Liv's heart, she has always had a calling for, and found joy in, working with younger children on their developmental and early intervention goals, and helping them achieve their dreams - no matter how big, or little. The pull back toward this passion continued to grow stronger and from this, Littleversity was born!
